Starting point – St. Pierre-Jolys Museum

Saint-Pierre-Jolys is located approximately 60 km south of Winnipeg. By taking highway # 59 south, you arrive in the heart of this Franco-Manitoban town and only a few hundred meters from the Saint-Pierre-Jolys Museum, the starting point for this cycling tour. The pretty park surrounding the Museum offers a safe place to park the car, picnic tables and Jem Bistro, a nice restaurant for those who wish to have a bite before taking their bike tour or returning from their trip. path. Directions:

Winnipeg to Saint-Pierre-Jolys 
At the corner of highway 59 and rue Joubert, turn right. The Saint-Pierre-Jolys Museum is located at 432, rue Joubert. The lot offers ample parking…

…and off we go!

When exiting the Museum Park, turn left on Joubert Street, a section of Crow Wing Trail.

At 2.7 km, the Joubert Street route turns into a gravel road and will remain so for most of the journey. Here, Joubert Street becomes Rat River Road.

At 8.2 km, a large bend in the path brings you to Route 34N, a paved road. Turn left. Cyclists can rest at the sports field on the right, directly opposite Providence College Otterburne. There are outhouses on the grounds.

10.1 km, turn left onto Main Street Otterburne (Main St.) This village is known for the presence of Providence College, built in 1925 and now the largest non-denominational Christian school in Manitoba.

At the end of the main street, turn left. Follow the country road to Chemin Martin Jérôme. Turn left and continue to the end of the path. Turn left until Chemin Curé.

At 10 miles you have reached the Maplewood Golf Club. They sell food and drink that can be eaten indoors or out. Recline out of the sun under the magnificent trees.

The way back
Take the Curé path back to the village and the grounds of the Saint-Pierre-Jolys Museum. This is what completes your 20 km circuit.
