In February, winter is in full swing in Manitoba! Between sporting events, cultural festivals, family activities, and outdoor adventures, there is rich and welcoming winter programming to discover across all corners of the province!

Held at the Piney Community Centre, this bonspiel taking place from February 13th to 15th brings together local players and visitors each year in a friendly atmosphere. Over 20 teams participate, making it a highly anticipated sports and social event in the municipality.

Celebrate winter in style, immersed in traditions, music, Francophone culture, and joie de vivre from February 13th to 22nd! A must-see music lineup, spectacular snow sculptures, and of course, maple taffy will be waiting for you!

Join us at the TC Energy Centre on Saturday, February 28th, from 10 AM to 2 PM, for a variety of free dinosaur-themed activities! Face painting, crafts, fossil excavation workshops, cookie decorating, and much more await both kids and adults.

Enjoy the great outdoors by snowshoeing or cross-country skiing! Explore the trails located at the corner of Highway 501 and Monominto Road, an easily accessible site that promises a wonderful winter adventure, or try one of the trails at St. Malo Provincial Park, perfect for an enjoyable afternoon outing.
A visit to Manitoba means travelling through Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 territory and communities signatory to Treaties 6 and 10, the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Anish-Ininiwak, Dakota, Dené, Iiniwak, and Nehethowuk and the homeland of the Métis Nation. Its ongoing existence is thanks to these ancestors and their present day relatives who continue to love and care for the land.
