National Indigenous Peoples Day<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day.\u00a0This year marks the 30th anniversary of this day, and\u00a0many\u00a0events\u00a0are taking\u00a0place\u00a0in Manitoba\u00a0where you can\u00a0discover and celebrate the culture, heritage, and stories of First Nations, M\u00e9tis, and Inuit peoples.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Union\u00a0nationale\u00a0m\u00e9tisse\u00a0de St.\u00a0Joseph is collaborating with Festival du Voyageur to host a M\u00e9tis picnic at Fort Gibraltar from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 20 to celebrate M\u00e9tis culture and traditions, and the\u00a0Local M\u00e9tis\u00a0of\u00a0St. Malo are hosting a paint night on June 17 as part of National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations. The local M\u00e9tis of St-Pierre are also organizing a Rivi\u00e8re-aux-Rats M\u00e9tis celebration at the St-Pierre-Jolys\u00a0Museum on June 21.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Winnipeg\u2019s largest Pride celebration\u00a0is taking\u00a0place from May 26 to June 7 this year. The 2026 theme,\u00a0<\/span>\u201cCelebrate Who You Are,\u201d<\/span><\/i>\u00a0highlights the diversity of the community and the love and support that bring it together.\u00a0A\u00a0first this year: the official\u00a02026\u00a0logo\u00a0was designed\u00a0in both English and French!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
