It has always been and remains a driving force in the cultural life of French-speaking Manitoba.<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-size-regular-2\">Established in St. Boniface, at the heart of Manitoba\u2019s capital city, Le Cercle Moli\u00e8re (now Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Cercle Moli\u00e8re) began by performing plays from the French classic repertoire. Then in the 1950s, plays from Quebec and across Canada were staged, and for the last forty years, the emphasis has been on new Manitoba works.
